INTELLIKEY Training Classes

INTELLIKEY offers training classes in all aspects of its product lines, from installation to operation and troubleshooting.

Basic Systems and Installation

This class is open to all new INTELLIKEY software users and covers basic system operations. Upon course completion the student will be able to add new users, issue keys, change user information and query keys. The student will be able to replace lost or stolen keys and return user keys. The student will be able to add new controllers, change controller information, and return or cancel a controller.

Students will be able to install the INTELLIKEY controllers in various surface applications.

This is a Level 1 course, and is one day in length.

Software Systems and Troubleshooting

This course is open to existing INTELLIKEY users. The user must have attended the Basic Systems and Installation course or have been a user for a minimum of 6 months.

Upon course completion the student will be able to manage daylight savings time, add time zones to keys and mange the activation and expiration of users. The student will be able to run various reports and be able to restore a crashed system. They will be able to work with Holidays and adding system operators. The student will be able to trouble shoot non-operating keys and controllers.

This is a Level 2 course, and is one day in length.

Advanced System Applications

This class is open to all existing INTELLIKEY users. The user must have attended both the Basic Systems and Installation, and the Software Systems and Troubleshooting courses, or have been a user for a minimum of six months.

Upon completion of the course the student will be able to install and program a remote KPU, and be able to export and import users. The student will be able to move software and data base information from one computer to another computer. Also, the student will be able to install software, and run on a Novell or NT network.

This is a Level 3 course, and is one day in length.

Dealer/Distributor Training Program

This course is open to all existing or new Dealers or Distributor of INTELLIKEY products. This course consists of Basic Systems and Installation, Software Systems and Troubleshooting and Advanced Systems Applications classes.

The fourth day will cover adding new dealers, managing End User Information from Dealer software to a new End User site, and installing Dealer and End User software both new and from Backup. It also covers the electronic keyway programs. This is a Level 4 course, and is four days in length.
